This shaft will fit the 8mm collet from makita or dewalt. was wondering if anyone has tried to change out the collect to maybe an er11 type collet on the makita? high precision er11 collets with 0.008mm runout. i have only seen a complete conversion of a makita to er 11 and someone somewhere mentioned doing it with er16.
